Online Shop

Coming soon

The shop is being
quietly prepared.

Our first curated collection of premium Indian sarees and ethnic wear opens to Germany and Europe soon.

Why the wait

Built slowly. Built once.

It would be easy to source a few sarees from a wholesale catalogue, drop them onto a Shopify store, and call it a launch. That is not IndiaNiva.

The shop is Phase 3 of the IndiaNiva journey — preceded by careful brand foundation work, ongoing audience growth, and our live Tailor Directory. By the time the shop opens, we will have spent more than a year visiting suppliers in India, ordering and testing samples, photographing every piece in real light in Germany, writing honest product descriptions, and setting up customer-friendly shipping and returns within the EU. German tax, customs, and compliance are confirmed with qualified professionals.

Until that is ready, the shop stays closed. When it opens, it will be small, curated, and worth your trust. See the full five-phase roadmap if you would like the longer picture.

First collection

What we are sourcing

A small, focused first launch — around 15 to 30 pieces. Most will be sarees, with a few premium ethnic wear pieces for wedding guests and festive occasions.

Category 01

Premium sarees

Banarasi-style silks, soft georgettes, organza, and silk blends — chosen for fabric, finish, and how they drape on different body types.

Category 02

Wedding guest sarees

For Indian weddings, engagements, and receptions — pieces that feel celebratory without competing with the bride.

Category 03

Ready-to-wear sarees

Pre-pleated sarees you can wear in minutes, ideal for first-time wearers and busy event days. No advanced draping required.

Category 04

Party sarees

Lighter, easier-to-style sarees for cocktails, brunches, evenings out, and festive gatherings.

Later phase

Premium ethnic wear

Carefully chosen kurtas, lehengas, and dupattas added after the first saree collection finds its rhythm.

Where we ship

Germany first, then the EU

We are launching in Germany first, with tracked shipping from a German warehouse. Within the first three months we plan to open up to Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Luxembourg.

Wider EU shipping (Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Portugal, and others) follows once shipping, returns, and VAT handling are stable and predictable.

Non-EU Europe — Switzerland, the UK, Norway — is more complex due to customs. We are not promising those countries at launch.

Please verify

VAT, customs, and import rules change. We confirm tax and compliance details with qualified professionals before publishing them. If you are planning a wedding or event around our launch date, please email us at info@indianiva.com and we will share specifics for your situation.

Beyond the shop

What comes after launch

The shop is Phase 3 of the IndiaNiva journey, not the end. After launch we will grow carefully through partnerships, pop-ups, and wider European reach in Phase 4. And further out — further out in time — we are quietly planning IndiaNiva Occasion Rental: a future rental sub-line for premium Indian outfits, jewellery, and accessories, for women and men who want to wear something exceptional for one special event without buying it outright.

That is the long arc of the brand. Read the full five-phase roadmap on the About page.
